Some days your full swing shots just can't miss. Other times, you can't hit a green from a perfect lie with your favorite club. That's when you see how important your short game is to keeping your scores down.

In the club business, the best compliment we receive is a member referral. Last month, we celebrated all of the loyal members who have referred a friend (or many friends!) to join Indian Hills Country Club. 

We welcome Matt Goldwait as the new Georgian Club General Manager. Regarding his return to Georgia, Matt stated, "I am delighted to be back in Atlanta with my family and being at The Georgian Club where I hope to build many lasting relationships with members and to continue the fine legacy of this great club."

We are very excited to welcome Executive Chef, Mr. Thomas McEachern to Indian Hills Country Club and the Futren Hospitality family! Tom is an award-winning Executive Chef coming to us from PIRCH in Atlanta, with experience at restaurants such as The 1848 House Restaurant in Marietta, Ray’s on the River, and The Capital Grille.

Last fall marked the beginning of a huge renovation project at Indian Hills Country Club. Over a three-year period, all 27 greens will be converted from Bentgrass to TifEagle Bermuda. Read more here...

On Thursday, September 7, members of The Georgian Club attended a seminar featuring Kevin Scott, co-founder of Addo Institute, to learn about 8 Essential Exchanges that can lead to individual betterment as well as company growth.

On Friday, September 8, Futren employees hit the road for our annual Futren Fun Day Outing. Futren Hospitality’s outing is a very special day when we leave our respective offices and enjoy new opportunities and our surrounding community together.

The Futren Hospitality Team served a delicious lasagna meal with salad, vegetables, and breadsticks to the patrons of Must Ministries' Loaves and Fishes Community Kitchen last week, and it was a hit! 

Every year, Habitat for Humanity events take place all over the nation in order to raise money and build homes for deserving families. One of the events held locally is the Habitat Road Race, which Indian Hills Country Club has proudly supported since 2010. Sign up to run with us!

Mitch Rhoden and Anthony Mullins, two members of Futren Hospitality’s executive team, are volunteering their time and talents for the annual charity event supporting Shepherd’s Men and the SHARE military initiative at Shepherd Center.
