Futren Family Fun Day

9/22/2017

On Friday, September 8, Futren employees hit the road for our annual Futren Fun Day Outing. Futren Hospitality’s outing is a very special day when we leave our respective offices and enjoy new opportunities and our surrounding community together. It is a day for the employees to relax and appreciate our working relationships while having a bit of fun as well.

Our first stop was Shepherd Center, a private, not-for-profit hospital specializing in medical treatment, research and rehabilitation for people with spinal cord injury, brain injury, multiple sclerosis, spine and chronic pain, and other neuromuscular conditions. The Futren team toured the hospital and learned about all of the incredible ways Shepherd Center is serving our community. We graciously thank Shepherd Center for the inspirational experience.
For lunch, we headed to Pittypat's Porch and enjoyed a delicious southern style meal in a quaint space. We were lucky enough to have the entire restaurant to ourselves to enjoy great conversation with great company. We had a little extra time after lunch, so we went for a stroll through Atlanta to check out the new Mercedes-Benz Stadium where we posed for some fun group photos.

We ended our day with a trip to Andretti Indoor Karting and Games, where we got a bit competitive and had a blast! The Futren employees chose silly racing names, put on our head socks and helmets and headed out to race! After racing, we played arcade games before getting on the bus and making our way back to the office.
Our Futren Outing definitely was a fun day full of excitement, laughter, and great friendship!
