Community Service Project

On December 22, over 15 Futren Hospitality employees and family members came together to serve two local families in need of yard work. The Futren Family is outstanding when it comes to teamwork! The crew worked together to help Miss Hazel, a widow in Marietta, after a tree fell in her yard from the snow storm. The IHCC grounds crew, along with our president, Mitch Rhoden, were hard at work chopping up the tree while others spread mulch. The team also gave a helping hand to Mr. Ingram who was a veteran of the Korean war and worked on the atomic bomb used in WWII. He was in need of a wheelchair ramp and some yard work as well. The Futren Team came together to make it happen! Last but not least, several Futren ladies prepared lunch for the crew. Thanks to David Ellis, Doug Freeman, Bill Bradford, and many others who made these improvements possible. Thanks for everyone’s hard work!
