Summary:

Indian Hills Country Club, Marietta is looking a Membership Administrative Assistant. The position of Membership Administrative Assistant is a visible one with a wide range of duties and responsibilities that require the utmost self-discipline.  The Assistant is responsible for sales, member relations, and clerical support for the membership office. It is the Assistant’s duty to assist the Director of Membership in any way necessary to meet the sales goals of the club.

Description:

This candidate should possess outstanding human relations skills, be articulate, be a good listener, and have the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing to a wide range of personalities and interest groups.  Applicant should be a self-starter.  The candidate must be poised and well-groomed in a manner appropriate to the club’s atmosphere and membership make-up.
 
This position requires excellent organizational and time management skills, along with the ability to coordinate details and prioritize work on a daily and weekly basis.  A memory for names and faces is essential. 
 
Education, Experience, and Training:  The candidate should hold an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, hospitality, a related field, or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.  Prior sales, marketing, or hospitality industry experience is preferred but not required.
 
The position requires the ability to follow written and oral instructions (in English) and procedures. The Membership Administrative Assistant will be required to work holidays, nights and weekends as necessary.
