Jim RhodenJames L. Rhoden, Jr.

James L. Rhoden, Jr. (Jim) is the Chairman and Principal Owner of Futren Hospitality which manages The Georgian Club, Indian Hills Country Club, Woodland Hills Golf Club, The Orchard Golf and Country Club, and the National Alliance of Private Clubs. He is a licensed real estate broker and has been active in real estate development and management of income properties since 1961. Having started Futren in 1971, Jim has developed and managed numerous major projects in Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina. Subsequent to completion of the 1,600 home Indian Hills Country Club in Marietta, Cobb County, Georgia, he ventured into private club management by purchasing the 242-acre Indian Hills Country Club, a 27-hole golf, tennis and swim facility.
 
Development and opening of The Georgian Club, a private city club atop the Galleria 100 Building, in Atlanta, was completed by Futren and its affiliates in April 1983. Woodland Hills Golf Club, in Cartersville, was purchased in 2012. The most recent addition to the Futren family is The Orchard Golf and Country Club, in Clarkesville, which was purchased in November 2014.
 
Jim believes in "giving back to his community" in all possible ways. He currently serves on The Georgia Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and is a member of the Board and Founding Chairman of the Cobb Community Foundation. He is also a Board member of the Cobb Travel and Tourism, and serves as one of Cobb County's representatives to the Regional Business Coalition. He served on the Board of The Civic League for Regional Atlanta and its predecessor, Regional Leadership Forum, for over 20 years, as well as the Cobb Chamber of Commerce Board and Executive Committee for over 30 years.

 

Mitch Rhoden

Stephen M. Rhoden

Stephen M. Rhoden (Mitch), President and CEO, joined Futren Hospitality in May of 2001. He is responsible for the management and ongoing operations for Futren Hospitality, Indian Hills Country Club, The Georgian Club, The Orchard Golf & Country Club, Woodland Hills Golf Club, and the National Alliance of Private Clubs, as well as other corporate interests. From 1997 until May 2001, Mitch was an Engineer Officer in the United States Marine Corps. He holds a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Mississippi and an M.B.A. from Kennesaw State University. Mitch is a licensed Georgia real estate broker.

Mitch currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Cobb Chamber of Commerce and for The Atlanta Area Council for the Boy Scouts of America. Mitch also serves as the leader of Cub Scout Pack 83 in Marietta. Mitch is an advocate for and supporter of Shepherd’s Men, a local non-profit which provides financial assistance to the SHARE Military Initiative for post 911 Veterans suffering from PTSD and TBI. Mitch is the past President of the Rotary Club of Marietta, past Chair of Leadership Cobb, and served on the Board of MUST Ministries. Mitch and his family are members of Trinity Presbyterian Church. Mitch is married to Lane Rhoden, of Tallahassee, Florida.  Mitch and Lane have 3 sons and live in Marietta, GA.

 

Anthony MullinsAnthony Mullins

Anthony Mullins, Chief Operating Officer, has over sixteen years in the golf and country club industry. He has held leadership positions managing private and semi-private clubs as General Manager and Director of Golf, as well as, Chief Operating Officer and Partner for a national club management and consulting firm. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Finance, a Masters Degree in Theology, and has served as a Nuclear Engineer in the United States Navy.

 


 

 

Donna Tuller

Donna Tuller 

Donna Tuller, Chief Financial Officer, joined Futren Hospitality in 1984 and manages a qualified accounting staff responsible for the overall financial record-keeping of the Company, its subsidiaries, and affiliates. Included in Donna's responsibilities are timely and informative financial reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, as well as overseeing the yearly audits performed by an independent accounting firm. Donna's previous work experience includes accounting management at Healthdyne, Inc. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia, with a B.B.A. in Accounting.


 

 

Judy Meadows

Judy Meadows

Judy Meadows, Executive Assistant to James L. Rhoden, Jr., joined Futren Hospitality in 1986 and manages the operations of the Chairman's office. Judy serves as Mr. Rhoden's liaison to Futren Corporation's subsidiaries and business associates and the community. She is a licensed Georgia real estate salesperson. She is also a member of Leadership Cobb Alumni Association. Prior to joining Futren, Judy was Executive Assistant to the Chairman of Macy’s Florida Department Store, and then was actively involved in the startup of two retail chains as Executive Assistant to the founder and Chairman of the Board of Office Depot.


 


Ashley O'NeilAshley S. O'Neil

Ashley S. O’Neil, Director of Marketing and Communications, joined Futren Hospitality in 2007. In her role as Director of Marketing and Communications, she oversees the operation of the National Alliance of Private Clubs and the administrative team at the corporate office. She is responsible for the design and distribution of newsletters, emails, and marketing materials for the National Alliance and all of our Clubs. Ashley holds a B.B.A. in Management from the University of Georgia and a Master of Business Administration from Kennesaw State University. She is a licensed Georgia real estate salesperson. She is also a member of Leadership Cobb Alumni Association. She is involved with the Cobb Chamber of Commerce, Habitat for Humanity, and Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church.

 

 

Doug Freeman

Doug Freeman, Director of Golf Courses and Grounds, first joined the team in 1994 as Assistant Superintendent at Indian Hills Country Club. After several years of pursuing his own landscape design and construction business, he re-joined Futren team in 2003 as Golf Course Superintendent. In 2014, after the acquisition of Woodland Hills and The Orchard Golf and Country Club, Doug became Director of Golf Courses and Grounds and is responsible for turf care operations company-wide. Doug attended Gwinnett Technical College majoring in Environmental Horticulture and Turfgrass Management. Doug is a class A Superintendent with The Georgia Chapter of The Golf Course Superintendents Association of America and has been in the golf course industry for 26 years.
